Your cloud services

Paying customers can add backup of supported cloud services such as Microsoft 365, Google Workspace and Dropbox. Cloud backup is a separate cloud subscription, not part of a computer's subscription, and is not available during the free trial.

Windows workstations and servers

Carrot Vault protects Windows desktops, laptops and servers, and Linux computers are also supported. Each protected computer has its own subscription and its own storage allocation; storage is not shared between computers.

Supported Carrot Vault configurations can implement a 3-2-1 strategy. Whether a particular deployment does depends on the storage it uses, so Red Rabbit Security designs the configuration with you; a deployment is not 3-2-1 automatically.

Scheduling and monitoring

Red Rabbit Security sets each computer's backup schedule, frequency, policy and retention, monitors every backup 24/7/365, and responds when a backup fails or falls behind. You see the results in the Customer Portal; you never have to administer the backup system yourself.

Recovery

When you need something back, Red Rabbit Security carries out the recovery for you. Separately from any real recovery, backups are regularly restored in isolation and checked under Recovery Governance, so you know a recovery will work before you need one.
